"A New Language of Objective Reality Part Two"

I am going to start this conclusion to the chapters on an objective language by throwing a verse from your Bible at you, because it says what I want to say at the start of this, what I can already feel to be, the biggest chapter yet of my handbook.. Reflect on this my friends..

" Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. "

(Jeremiah Ch 17, Vs 5.).

Let's examine that in the context of our quest. Our quest to Awake.. In recognition of, and in the context of "Higher Mind" I can safely say that God our Creator is the Ultimate Higher Mind, and I am making bold to tell you such for reasons that will hopefully become clearer, as I further expound upon the idea of an objective language in which understanding becomes possible.

Let's put that Vs above into a different language for the purposes of our discussion about language....

" So says the Voice of Objective Reason; Cursed is that poor fool who trusts in his own judgement, and in the A influences, who makes his ego the champion and director of his wretched unconscious existence, whilst repressing his emotional centre and it's call to him to hear the Voice of his Creator. "

With apologies to God, but I have made this parody up on the spur of the moment, to illustrate a point about language, and perhaps as a springboard to new ideas for the profitable further employment and development of a language of objective understanding, an Alchemical Language of "Agreed Values" .. I am sure some of my readers have a 'new english bible' or some such abomination, so I am sure Jeremiah 17, 5 reads differently in that too, and is probably a good example of a degeneration in meaning by means of altering the language.. This is not helpful, and I am certainly not offering my above as an improvement or anything like that.. It is for an example only... Lets look at that text from the KJV again, it's stating three things in one so let's look at each factor in the statement....

" Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, " ... Seems obvious enough at a glance doesn't it, but how many of you understand just "how" Cursed IS that man? The creature ignoring it's Creator, and believing in itself, seems preposterous doesn't it? Perhaps, when you put it like that.. Yet we nearly ALL do it.. we ignore Our Creator, and persist in believing in man made solutions to man made problems. If only we could see what Our Creator has planned for us, what He wants for us, how the dignity of Holy Universal Man (HUman) demands so much more than this world currently affords, how Our Creator intended us to accept the gift of Higher Consciousness that He offers, yet in our stubborness and because Our Creator gave us free will / choice, nearly all of us continue to reject Him and arrogantly turn to our own solutions and those of our fellow unenlightened creatures... They "trusteth in man" .

" and maketh flesh his arm, "  Hmm... again not hard to understand if you know what you are looking at... the flesh part is "man" that in which the poor fool hath placed his trust.. "So you think, so you are" my old grandaddy used to say, and how right he was, for action always follows thought.. The poor fool has placed his trust in men, and now he has made it his arm! He has made it his way, his modus operandi, your arm is that with which you do things.. it connects your brain to your hand, and in this context it simply means "that with which you 'do' " so now, having thought to place his trust in men, the fool has literally "chanced his arm" by applying his foolish thinking in his life and in the world around him.. He has chosen to follow the ways of the flesh, to be dominated by influences A.. indeed he has even developed a horrid parody of magnetic centre.. It is magnetic centre in reverse.. The world now stands on the brink of a most dire calamity, because men have developed a wrong magnetic centre.. they have become drawn to the influences of man, and are mostly actually repulsed by the higher influences, such is the appalling pit that is the state of their consciousness. Such men are running riot in our world currently and are about to lead the whole world into war once more... They have, " made flesh their arm ".

" and whose heart departeth from the Lord."  Hmm... yes, well that's the final stage in the degeneration as far I am concerned... Firstly men must "have a heart" and secondly they must guard it, that they see it do not " depart from the Lord. " Your emotional centre is indeed the key of the door in a manner of speaking, in that this is where you feel the connection to your essence which is where the connection to God exists. It is important to have a balance.. Remember the men 123.. Physical man, Emotional man, and Intellectual man? Well, whilst there is something of each of them in in all of us in ordinary life / consciousness, many men, and on this occasion I mean more the men than the wombmen, in modern life tend to repress a lot of the signals they get from their emotional centre / heart.. That is bad.. The Ancient Greeks were a pretty heartless mob and what did they give us? The legacy of "The Education " and homosexuality... well they certainly popularised it anyway.. Heartlessness in men is one of the chief causes of homosexuality, because it cuts you off from your channel of communication with your Creator. So guard your heart carefully it is the key to the door that leads to the Kingdom of Heaven.. and be not like those " whose heart departeth from the Lord. "

Ok, that's my summation of that verse from Jeremiah.. There are many such verses in the Bible, in that they reflect a profound truth that is both timeless and universal.. Whether God was speaking to the prophets, to the Israelites or the Gentiles, or universally, and in many contexts, there are a number of verses that are clear as glass.. they are unequivocal in their meaning at least for those with eyes to see they are anyway.. Such is the nature of Jeremiah 17, 5. It applies to all of us, all the time, everywhere, and is extremely useful for our esoteric Alchemical purposes, because it speaks a timeless truth, coming from the Highest Mind of all, the purest of all C influence. Now some of the more secular minded among you might think that for someone who said they were going to come at this from the school angle, I'm talking about God rather a lot... Well the simple fact is you see, that He cannot be denied, and all the roads, and the ways, that abound... the seekers on different paths.. coming after much the same goal from all the different angles.. the science angle, the perspective of objective art, and so on.. in the end it is all the same when each reaches the pinnacle, climbs his particular mountain, he finds there, all the others who have also found God on the way, because He is the Mountain, and the minute he realises that, everything else falls into place. From the peak of the Mountain all is clear. The veil is lifted from the eyes and the sleeper Awakes to sleep no more, for he has at last learned to put his trust in God, and to see men as they are.

Alright, now I want to talk more about this objective language of understanding before we move on to new ground again. We have discussed the Bible a bit, a source of C influence, though unfortunately among modern men it seems to be the source of much confusion and argy-bargy between different contemporary folk who read it.. Still as I say there are a number, a great number of verses in fact, in both Testaments that are plain and unequivocal. One needs only understand the simple language to grasp the unshakableness and timelessness of it's veracity. I shall limit any discussions of the Bible to such unequivocal passages that have clear meaning for our Alchemical journey, our quest to Awake, and there are indeed a good many other sources we can draw on, for our purpose of bringing the modern mind to grips with the higher knowledge possessed much more commonly by our ancestors, who were far too wise to put their trust in men. The verse I have given you from Jeremiah, though timeless, is a warning specifically for our present time where men's departure in their hearts from the Lord, has caused us collectively to arrive at the brink of destruction, with lies flourishing on a grand scale never before seen in all history.. Men are blinded.. Their own egos have blinded them to the truth...  Vanity, vanity, all is Vanity sayeth the Preacher. Amen.

Indeed before we move along from our look at the Bible, let me recommend to you the whole of the Book of Ecclesiastes, and learn it's message well... "Vanity, vanity, all is vanity sayeth the Preacher".

" Do you Possess Magnetic Centre? "

Do you possess magnetic centre, and if so is it a ' right kind ' of magnetic centre?.. Because the truth is that you do possess magnetic centre of some kind. Everybody has some sort of centre of gravity. Firstly they are either men or women No 1, 2, or 3, because they gravitate toward one or other of the three brains. Did I mention that man was a three brained being? Perhaps we'll refer to him as a three centred being at this stage, because I know many of you to be stuck in the mindset that the grey matter in your head is your only brain, and most of you confuse this with mind also, which again is wrong. So firstly you have a tendency toward sensuality, emotionality, or intellectuality, depending on whether you are essentially a man 1, 2, or 3 respectively.. Of course if you are an intellectual man you will still have emotions, and physical senses, it is just that you are predominantly drawn to the intellect first. Now that is a very broad, though also useful, way to group men in the ordinary life. It tells you something of that persons magnetic centre, but within that broad spectrum we find many variations, many possibilities exist that constitute the individualness of a person. And in this look at magnetic centre, we will speak more about the A B and C influences that are without, and how a person must needs eventually gravitate predominantly to the A influences, or the B and C influences, because as I already noted, nothing is static but the dead.

So you do possess some form of magnetic centre, at least if you have reached mature age you will have developed a tendency to gravitate one way or another, and will probably have a magnetic centre that is still developing. Let me warn you especially if you are fairly young, that our world is becoming increasingly swamped with A influences, and if you haven't developed a desire to seek out the Higher influences at an early age, you are likely to miss them altogether as you grow older, with Heaven only knows what consequences.. you certainly will not have developed a magnetic centre that is useful for our Alchemical purposes, and Deputy Steward will not come, in fact I hate to tell you this children but if you have a lust after the more negative kind of A influences you may well develop a nasty parody of magnetic centre that ends up bringing something not at all like Deputy Steward in charge of your life, with the result that bad developments will become crystalised in you to the point that you can no longer be considered a sleeper in the objective sense, but have become, literally the " Walking Dead "... In which case you will be in very serious trouble if I or some other Alchemist doesn't get to you before the time comes for the  " Hour of The Lord "  ...

Alright then, let's touch briefly on some of these more negative types of A influence, that will literally be your undoing if you gravitate toward them. We have already said that not all A influences are bad, indeed we should not be able to exist within the mundane world without interacting with quite a lot of A influence. Influence A if you remember, we have already noted to be, all those things originating within the ordinary minds of men. They are the mundane influences of our mundane world. But folks we musn't get bogged down even in the best of them, for that would be putting our trust in man. Remember Jeremiah Ch 17 Vs 5 ? Good, then let us all be on our guard lest we fall from grace and come to place our trust in men.

I have already said that a study of man such as we find him is really a study of lying on the grand scale, and this is where the worst of those A influences will potentially get you into a lot of trouble, because they are lies, and very big lies at that. Take the filth that passes for entertainment on the television and in the cinema these days most of the time. Occasionally something half decent will crop up with a bit of B and maybe even C influence in the thing, but this is rare and ordinary mind does not differentiate anyway. Ordinary mind takes it all on the same level, and reduces it to an A influence. Those who have a vested interest in the status quo will tell you of course that, that the plethora of graphic violence, gratuitous sex and sleaze, and so on, does not affect the mind of the viewer. Poppycock, everything that comes into your consciousness affects your mind, and if you fill it with rubbish, eventually you will only get rubbish out of it.. And those who proclaim otherwise are suffering from the most disturbed minds of all...

So let this be your goal initially, in using the first big tool I have given you, "self observation / study " ask yourself which type of influences have formed the weight of impressions that you have taken in during the course of your life, try to see if you have developed a magnetic centre that gravitates mostly toward A influence or the Higher influences, and though I am sure that you, dear esteemed reader of my ramblings, are undoubtedly above average in this regard, we can all do with turning toward the Higher influences, myself included, all need to incline their ear towards God, and cease trusting in man.

Ok, now you'll notice I've given you ideas about work you can do on yourself, and also I've given you a glimpse into the world of the esoteric, and an idea of what begins to happen next if we are serious about Awakening, about escaping the 'Prison of Sleep' .. I have told you about the principle of three lines of work for example, and if you are serious about the inner Alchemy you will already have made a few observations about yourself. Now whilst you are working on yourself in this way (Conscious labours and intentional sufferings) it is already time to at least begin thinking about your second line of work. Work with others. How precious few of us realise that it is our own personal kharma that keeps us in the prison of sleep, and that we have many debts we must settle before we can make any progress, so at this stage it would be beneficial for us if we observe ourselves most diligently when we are interacting with others. Perhaps if we are honest we will begin to see that we do not always treat others with the respect we ought to. Often we do not treat them in the way we ourselves would like to be treated. As your conscious labours begin to make you stronger, you may wish to make the effort to practice treating others as you would like to be treated, in time you will be able to settle many kharmic debts this way, and it will indeed be true second line work for our purposes.

Now as I also said before, we need an escape team if we are to have a proper permanent success in our quest to escape from the prison of sleep, and there are many reasons for this. As a minimum one could consider a team of two, to constitute an escape team and therefore a school in our context. However half a dozen would be better, for you see if we are to make progress with any sort of speed we will need to take advantage of the fact that while we are on the journey there are times when we are more awake, other times more asleep. Up to a certain point the bigger the team the better because then hopefully at least one person will always be awake and able to arouse the others when they doze off (drift off the path) or fall asleep to their true purpose would perhaps best describe it. Anyhow it's important in a team to observe each other as well as ourselves, so we can provide stimulation and feedback among ourselves.. This in itself helps people to stay alert. There will always be times when one of you or some of you fall back to sleep, and this is one of the main reasons we need a team under today's abominable conditions of existence. Team / School work is third line work, and that is enough about that for the moment, but it is right to keep it in mind for when the time comes later. Meanwhile there is conscious labour you can do. Observe yourself. Try to sustain this, it will be a true effort on your first line of work. Observe others also, and ask yourself, do I always treat others as I would like to be treated myself?. Try to treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. Practice it, this will be true second line work... and make no distinction, you must try to treat "everybody" this way. Practice saying to yourself, "God is great and so am I, God is great and so are you" in your head, when you meet people, it works wonders I can vouch.

" The Beginnings of Objectivity in Our Language " 

Well now I have shared a few words and terms with you that come largely from an already existing language of understanding, that has originated from Higher minds than we currently see around us today.. So very much higher in fact that I shamelessly make use of any and all objective knowledge which has come before me, and it has all come before make no mistake for there is indeed nothing new under the sun. I shall begin to add to this in coming chapters, stirring in a bit of my own personal lingo that I have evolved in my own quest. Meanwhile, we have a grasp of a number of contrasts. The ordinary mind and the Higher Mind for example.. man and God. The different types of men. Consciousness in the objective sense, and spiritual / psychological sleep that clouds the eyes of the men of our world today. A influence as opposed to B and C influence, devolution or evolution in the matter of consciousness and so on. And I've introduced you to the idea of a school of Higher mind, in which an objective language of understanding is not only possible but already in fact exists. Once again I am going to recommend heartily to you, the book "The Fourth Way" by P. D. Ouspensky, it is invaluable if we wish to build an escape team and goes into matters discussed here with a detail I cannot hope to emulate in a handbook of this nature. You will find much that I have spoken of explained in there, and more besides. But still this is only chapter 6 and who knows how many I may get up to eventually? This would seem like a good time to conclude these two chapters concerning the objective language and meditate on what direction to take this journal in next. Hmm... Chapter 7 eh! 7 is a most interesting number. Perhaps I will introduce you to the " Holy Universal Law of Seven " among other things. We'll leave it as a mystery for a while, I love a good mystery don't you? :-)
