Not a lot to say! I live in Australia, have two children, my son Brandon (6) and daughter Jessica (4 1/2).
I am
currently working as a Registered Nurse full time, and have been a nurse for about 9 years now. I enjoy my speciality which is long term/extended care, and primarily gerontology (older persons) care. Because of working shift work and the 24-hours-a-day life of a parent, I have spent many sleepless nights attending to my son and his sleeping problems, and found that a great time to also search the internet looking for information on A.S.
I made this home page to "give back" some of the
personal stories that so many other parents and carers have taken the time and courage to share with me. I was amazed how many similarities our children share. Of course, every one and every situation is unique, any information we as parents or carers can contribute to the knowledge base that we have on A.S., is a great thing!
